Authentic Hotel and Spa Turkish Cotton 6-piece Towel Set

My 5* rating is based on quality/value. If you want the best heavy weight Turkish towel, you will need to go to a higher end retailer and pay 4 times as much or even much more. This towel is great. This type of towel absorbs well while being soft. It's not as heavy as a PB classic Turkish towel for example, but as good or better than anything you find at Macy's or other mid range big box stores. I purchased the Turkish Supreme Coll 700GSM towel from O as well. I think the weight is about equal and well as size and feel. The Supreme snags more easily than this one. I also prefer this one because of the decorative band being a bit more narrow. The look of the wider band on the Supreme is nice, but it was less comfortable to dry with. I've purchased this set twice now, years apart in time... consistently good. Hope that helps!!

I've actually owned these for several years and they have held up remarkably well. Once you have used Turkish Cotton you will never want to go back to anything else. There are many ways to ensure the longevity of these towels: I don't use fabric softener on them since it eventually breaks down the cotton. The towels are much more absorbent without the use of fabric softener. I wash all my white towels (bath towels, hand-towels, wash clothes) together. I never toss anything non-white in the load. I occasionally bleach them and ALWAYS use a stain fighting boost. A few of my towels are showing wear but I have been using them regularly for several years and they are great towels. I purchased additional Turkish cotton hand towels from Overstock at the time I purchased these because I change out the hand towels at least once a day (if not more) and I wanted to make sure I had enough to use to get us through our once weekly laundering. Would highly recommend these. You wont be disappointed.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the towels. I purchased them as a gift for a friend and I am almost embarassed to given them to her. I was hoping for a nice thick towel similar to the ones found in four star hotels. I also purchased a set of sheets at the same time and have taken them to Good Will - again, very disappointed in the quality. I have been purchasing from Overstock for a number of years and this order is the first one I have not been completely satisfied with. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment.

I have purchased no less half of dozen of the Turkish Cotton towel sets from Overstock and other online outlets and I have to say I am on the fence with this manufacturer. The pros: Spa-like indulgence at home! These towels are quite large, thick and soooo very soft and comfy! They wash well and last forever and a day! For the price you just can't find better towels! The cons: It's either hit or miss with regard to quality. With at least 12 towels, 12 hand towels and 12 washcloths (all with the same manufacturer's label ordered in sets of 2 at different times), the stichting on any number of these towels look like my first day behind the sewing machine in Home Ec class. Strands here and there can been overlooked... however with my last order, the stichting on 2 of the 2 towels were completely unraveled. One with blue thread! I'd like to say this was a fluke but the quality on every order over the past year seems to have gone down hill from the order before. Note: *Overstock did a great job replacing said towels in a friendly and expedient manner, but I have to say if I find better quality towels from a different manufacturer for approximately the same price, I'm going with them to simply avoid the hassle.

Turkish cotton towels are the best. This set is well worth the price.

I finally have a decent towel set, actually I bought 2 of them. These Turkish Cotton hotel and spa towels are awesome. They are nice, thick and absorbent. I think these are great quality for a fair price on Overstock.com. I would recommend these towels if you are searching for a quality towel set for your home.

Being a man I did not know you needed to wash new towels before you used them LOL. I looked like I was covered with snow when I attempted to dry off after a shower. The towel just pushed the water around on me and left me looking like frosty. Having said that after three machine washings the towels are beginning to perform as I had expected. They are the correct size and weight you would find in higher end hotels and if you wash them a minimum of three to four times before the first use I am sure you will enjoy them too.

These towels are good quality. Nice Turkish cotton - very well made. No polyester in them so they are very absorbent. I would buy these again.

The Turkish cotton towels are thick soft cotton. They quickly absorb moisture. I bought two sets to try out, and I am now ordering more.

These are amazing quality Turkish cotton towels! Beautiful and thick.Highly recommend for guest bathroom and personal use as well. This is the second set of these towels that I have bought and everyone loves them!

The stitching of the hems was uneven on all the towels. On a couple of them it was defective—i.e., ran off the edge, etc. Had to return them.

I've used these towels for a month now and am very pleased with them. I did not want ultra-thick towels, but from other reviews was concerned I would find them too thin. That's not the case at all. I was really looking for spa-like towels that could stand up to make-up stains and wouldn't easily snag, as I've found so many of my towels do. I agree with the review that suggested washing them three times before use. I washed them twice before use and still had some problems with getting "fuzzies" on me.

Good basic bath towels. With 5 people we use a lot of towels and I have all white throughout the house and in second home. They wash and wear well and I have had no problems.

I had the same department store towels for the last 7 years, since my husband and I married. They were wearing out, so we decided to invest in some well-made bath linens. We purchased two sets of 6 and one set of 7 (that includes the bath rug). We are VERY pleased with this purchase! The towels are thick and absorbent, and become softer and fluffier with each wash. As mentioned in other reviews, a lot of lint comes out in the dryer trap the first few times, but it's not problematic at all. Go ahead and buy - you won't be sorry!

These are a good value for the price. They are not as soft as the hotel collection at Macy's, but they aren't as expensive either and as far as turkish cotton towels go they are worth it definitely

Buyer Beware! Overstock tricked me with carefully crafted words (I guess to be deceitfull or confusing?). Previously I have purchased their Premium Hotel Towels which are wonderful and fairly priced. The word I missed was these towels I bought are thin, substandard "Authentic Hotel Turkish Towels" and not "Premium" towels I thought I was buying at a discount (more Overstock deceit).but I bet the price I paid was just general everyday price. Overstock should quit playing us as fools and tricking us regarding their product quality. I bought these for a Vacation Rental Property I own and cannot use them there so I bought them home, better than throwing them away. Signed, an Unhappy

Great quality! Was really skeptical to order towels online, i like to feel them before buying but had no choice, needed them shipped. Washed them a few times now, came out nice and fluffy

The best towels ever! Purchased for my guest bath to brighten it up. I purchased a new white shower curtain, and with my new white towels it has a bright new look! Will be purchasing more of these towels for gifts.
