  • So warm.

This is one cozy comforter! I noticed no objectionable odor, but I'm a knitter and love the smell of wool.

  • Perfect!
    Verified Purchase

Bought this comforter in king size about 2 years ago and have loved it so much I just bought one for another bed. Perfect year round weight. Wool filling stays in place. Quality is excellent. Would highly recommend.

  • Great, warm and not bulky comforter
    Verified Purchase

This comforter is exactly what I wanted - warm and not bulky. The squares are uniform in their contents and the contents don't shift around. I love this comforter.

  • wonderful comforter
    Verified Purchase

I immediately noticed the difference with this wool comforter. I had a synthetic before and I would get too hot at night. This one isn't as warm when you get into bed but after a few minutes it is comfortable and I don't wake up sweating. I use it with a duvet.

  • Too hot!
    Verified Purchase

I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend. She told me it'd be more "breathable" than a down comforter. I'm still waking up every morning soaking wet with sweat (even with light weight pajamas). I drop the heat in my house way down at night and still wake up too hot. I want to like this comforter, but unfortunately I do not.

  • ethical/eco-friendly alternative to down/polyester
    Verified Purchase

We sleep with the thermostat set at 65, and this wool comforter is the perfect weight to keep us warm all night. There was a "wool" smell for the first 2 days, but that's totally gone now. I was driven to find an ethical alternative to a down comforter that wouldn't also take hundreds of years to biodegrade like polyester fill. I'm very pleased with this comforter.

  • Christmas Gift
    Verified Purchase

We gave this to our son and daughter in law for Christmas. They love it. No odor, nice weight and comfy. We gave them a down filled comforter last year but they had to put it away. They didn't like feathers coming through the fabric and said the feather poked. But they love this wool filled comforter. Looks like we got it right this year!!

  • Nice comforterq
    Verified Purchase

I like this comforter for winter time. It is nice and heavy and very warm. I was hoping the wool would be a little more temperature regulating, but it is still very comfortable. Our nighttime temps inside the house only get down to 62064 degrees so this comforter is a bit warm.

  • Ruined by dry cleaning
    Verified Purchase

I bought it for the first time about 5 years ago and I had two of these blankets, ruined by a dry cleaner. First one was accidentally washed by the dry cleaner. It shrunk to a crib size and was donated to a pet shelter. I bought a second one and this time I asked CD One Price Cleaners to make sure they dry clean it. Same thing happened. Comforter shrunk and wool clogged inside into hard balls. Took it to pet shelter again. I bought a third one because I loved it some much for the warmth and medium weight. I don't know what I will do when it gets dirty, I may just "sanitize" it in the sun in summer or maybe risk it again at another dry cleaners who knows how to handle these blankets. Otherwise this comforter is wonderfully warm, but not hot, soft, and good size for my 5.5' 200 pounds frame.

  • Wool Comforter
    Verified Purchase

These are very difficult to find and not popular in the US but I find them to be light weight and warm and a great alternative to down and synthetic. This particular comforter is "all season". I don't know how it will be in very cold but now is satisfactory. I would have preferred a medium winter weight. Quality is excellent and hopefully, will work for very cold nights.

  • Not as thick as others
    Verified Purchase

Comforter shipped pretty quickly. It had no real odor and looks and feels nice. Not overly big or as thick as a wool comforter I already own but that was expected. Very nice for the money

  • Love this cozy comforter!
    Verified Purchase

This is a great comforter. It's cozy without being stifling, and I just love having it on my bed. I only see two problems -- it's dry clean only and it's heavy. The fact that I can't launder this myself, makes it not quite worth it in the long run since dry cleaning a comforter is really expensive. And the fact that it's heavy is great until you want to fold it up and carry it to the cleaner. If I had to make the decision again, I'd probably still buy it, but that doesn't make me any happier about the dry cleaning expenses.

  • Good weight, no flying feathers
    Verified Purchase

One week in, this comforter is working well over a radical temperature change. We went form summer to late fall it would nights, and the comforter is neither too warn nor too cold, used with a sheet. It is lighter weight than a winter weight down comforter of similar size. Easy to get into the cover. Easier than down.
