All-Seasons Reversible Down Alternative Comforter

I received my Southshore Fine Linens Down Alternative Comforter. I got the lavender color. The color is just beautiful, and the comforter is so very soft, nice and warm as well. I really am thrilled with this great comforter..

since this wasn't going to be exposed I was only worried about corner tabs and dimensions in relation to the duvet cover my son wanted. This is one of the larger king comforters and worked well. The box construction to keep the fill in pace and evenly distributed was also important to us. King size bedding can get pretty heavy so we also didn't want one that would be a huge pain to move/flip/etc.

We love this comforter. Although we have only had it for a week, it's working perfectly for what we wanted it for. Something lightweight but warm enough without being overly hot. We open the windows and the room stays between 69 and 72 degrees during the night.. The comforter we replaced this one with was too heavy on our feet and too warm for these temperatures. This one is very lightweight and not too warm but warm enough. I purchased the King/California King . It's oversized compared to most comforters and since my husband is 6' 4", his feet always dangle off the end of the bed. Now his feet are covered and there are covers over both sides of the bed. No more fighting for covers. Yes, as some posts stated, there were threads hanging that had to be cut off, but the stitching was all the way through so the boxes won't come apart. It doesn't bode well for the finishing work but that's all. It has nice piped edges that I worried might bother my neck but it doesn't. The fabric is so soft and smooth. Nice quality. It isn't puffy like a down comforter but it has some puff to it. I bought the dark taupe and it's a real pretty color. It arrived in a vacuum sealed bag so it wasn't very big. But when I cut the plastic it expanded and puffed up nicely. It washed up beautifully in my Large Capacity Kenmore washer and dried nicely in my Large Kenmore Dryer. Of course, I had to keep pulling it out and re-arranging it and putting it back in so it would dry all over but I have to do that with all of my bedding. I would recommend this comforter to anyone wanting something nice, lightweight, oversized and very soft and comfortable. It's taken me 12 years to finally find just the perfect summer comforter.

Very nice comforter, fits with inches to spare over a California King with a 3 inch gel topper. It can be used with or without a duvet cover.

After seeing that hotels are using this kind of comforter as a blanket I wanted to do the same. Perfect, not too heavy, but yet keeps you warm. The fabric is so soft. I could not be happier!

I love the quality of this comforter. The color is beautiful, I purchased a twin (long) which fits beautifully on a full size bed!

I thought well what could it hurt I am going to tell you right now this is exactly the most perfect comforter because it is not heavy at all if feels so light that you think it’s not going to be good enough you know it’s going to feel less but that’s the thing that is so weird my husband said after a Little nap first day “I really like it but don’t know you’re gonna like it it might be too thin” and it is thin In comparison to most fluffy light synthetic faux down comforters but what’s uncanny Is it is perfect! You don’t feel like it’s light and it is the most comfortable wonderful comforter I believe I’ve ever owned. I don’t know how to explain it but if you read everyone else’s review you’ll understand it’s just like butter ...ha ha Ha! P.S. For the price it’s crazy but forget about the price it’s just wonderful that’s all I can say my color was the steel green and I will tell you this far as I’m concerned it looks exactly like a sage green but not Sage green on the website as a choice but just a true sage or fern green however I have a dark bedroom and it’s just not important to me I love the color and if I look just right it does seem to have a little of the blue gray that I expected but other than that it’s perfect.

This comforter arrived compressed into its zippered packaging and when I took it out it slowly puffed up to a perfect fullness. It's large, even on my King bed it has plenty of overhang in all sides. The weight is good for most seasons, except summer. It's light feeling but holds in warmth. Very good value. Tan color was true to pucture.

I wish I could post pictures. I am so disgusted right now with Overstock. Loved the comforter when I pulled it out but upon inspection there were black marks and even white smears on my comforter! It reeked of women's perfume. If that wasn't bad enough, there is the worst stitch job I've ever seen with white thread (on marsala wine colored blanket) of 3 inches. As far as the quality of the blanket itself I would not have purchased it after seeing it. The fiber fill is soft and loose. The used comforter that was sent to me was already flattened in some squares and the filling was pulled away from the sides of the blanket. The only compliment I can give is the color. The condition of this blanket as it was sent to me is enough to steer me away from Overstock forever.

My FAVORITE comforter ever!! Will be ordering more in different colors. No more fighting over covers to have enough to be covered!! KING size usually runs small but NOT this one!! WONDERFUL size!! I live in South and we get cold some too , but this has proven to be a great weight for different seasons. Can't best the value as well! You will be very happy with this!

I was looking for a nice lightweight comforter that wouldn’t be too warm. This one is not as fluffy as I would like, but it was good for warmer weather.

I love this comforter. It is not light, more on the heavier side. The price was extremely cheap for the amount I paid. I ordered the black and I am very happy with it.
