This is a great little ride on toy for a toddler. It holds up to 45 lbs. The only downside is that I wouldn't take it outdoors because of the fabric and the fur. But it's fun to have in our house!

We purchased a mouse wheely last x-mas for our daughter from a specialty toy site, This year, my son (5 year old twins) begged for a "boy" one. My husband didn't want to buy this for him--thinking it wasn't age appropriate anymore. However, when we told our son we didn't think it would be a great choice for him, he told us not to worry, he would just ask Santa for it! UGH--so I hunted around and found the tiger fo much less than we purchased my daughter's mouse. I can't believe how much they have played with these. Almost every day they are spinning, chasing and finding crazy ways to play on these wheelies. My twins are BUSY and rough with toys, but I can't believe how sturdy and fun these have been. Even my hubby has to admit it was a good choice-ha! We have many other ride on type toys, but this one is by far the most popular.

  • FYI, this is a LARGE Wheely Bug
    Verified Purchase

Very important: This is the size LARGE Tiger Wheely Bug. I know it doesn't state it in the product title, but the product description does include the correct dimensions. I was hesitant in ordering it, but rest assured, I did receive the large size. I've read a lot of reviews about the Wheely Bug, and it seems like the general consensus is that the small size is too small. That, if your child can fit on the small, then he is too young to be using it. I have no personal experience to back this up, but my research steered me towards the large size. The product came in its original box, VERY SNUGLY fitted inside of a shipping box. There was no packing material, nor any room for packing material, so I am surprised nothing was damaged. Since my son is still in the womb, I will share my experience with this product through my friend, who also bought this Tiger Wheely Bug for her infant, now toddler, son. It's actually sturdy enough for an adult to ride on. The body is much harder than I expected. I guess it just looks like it would be more squishy. Also, the wheels on the Wheely Bug are what you would see on a cheap office chair. That was also unexpected considering that it's supposed to be a kid's ride-on toy. But my friend's Wheely Bug still seems brand new and her toddler son has been using it for over a year now. I apologize that half of my review is not based on my personal experience! If I can, I will update the review once my son is born and old enough to use the Wheely Bug.
