This is a super little humidifier. Takes less than gallon of water so it is not as heavy as the larger humidifiers. Runs for up to a day depending on how fast you run it. Very easy to fill and use! My caution for people buying these electrostatic humidifiers is that you must use VERY clean water. Most tap water has a lot of minerals that will quickly build up and clog the diffuser plate. You can clean them with vinegar and/or rubbing alcohol but using normal tap water will probably greatly shorten the life of this type of humidifier. I have reverse osmosis water in my home, which I use for all of my humidifiers. You can also buy distilled water or demineralized water and I would recommend that if you plan to use an electrostatic humidifier of any kind.
