We were looking for a solid wooden buster type chair for our grandson when he visits. We chose the LA Baby stackable. It arrived on time. sa All the parts were included along with easy to read and follow instructions. It took me about twenty minutes to put all the parts together. It is solid wood and it has has a very nice finish that goes with our furniture. The price was right for us. I would suggested it for any one looking for an in-between chair for a a young child.
This highchair looks very nice but is very difficult to use. We use it for our granddaughter so it is not used as often as it would be in other households. The tray doesn't move which makes it hard to get her little legs under the tray without hurting her. The harness is a joke. It looks like it was an afterthought and is just too cumbersome to use. If we were ever going to leave her unattended in this chair we'd have to find another solution because we just don't use the belts. As mentioned by most reviews the cushion is covered in white duck canvass and easily soiled and not easily cleanable. In summary: Functionally this chair fails. Aesthetically it passes nicely. I also like the idea of it's use without the feeding tray as a booster seat later. Looking forward to that stage.
Easy to assemble, sturdy, good looking and great price. As grandparents, we like the looks of this solid wooden piece and how it fits in with our other dining room furniture. Our grand daughter fits right in to our family's table.
The idea itself is great, but in reality, as the high chair, it isn't practical. Because the wooden tray is not removable, it is difficult to get the baby in and out each time. When the seat is lowered enough to get chunky baby thighs under the tray, the crouch strap does not reach, so it is not useable.
