Doesn't Last
I bought the Elvie wearable double pump in October 2022. We used it for our first child in scenarios where we needed to pump on the go. It did not get as much milk as the spectra pump but that was expected. The convenience was great. Fast forward to November of 2024. We had the Elvie units boxed up safely for over a year and now they won't charge at all. I've used new outlets, bought new chords, and nothing has seemed to help. These do not last long. I called and I am unfortunately 1.5 months past the warranty(2 years from delivery) so they would not honor a replacement. According to customer service you need to run them at least once a month when not in use between children.so all in all, I would not recommend if you plan to use for multiple children.

Pleasantly Surprised but Overpriced
I purchased this pump because of its slim profile, limited noise, and ability to use with an app. Im pleasantly pleased with it but feel it's overpriced for the technology and still slips out of my pumping bra if I'm moving around that's why I would give it a 3/5.

It could be better
I have been using these for six months since I had my baby. They do not work as well as the standard plug-in pump, but they will do the job. I have tried multiple things and mine leak often however, and they always stop at around 4 ounces before they are actually full it is hit or miss that it will actually keep going until 5 ounces. Would you read online about the charging being annoying is definitely 100% true it depends on the angle of the cord which cord you're using. The cords that it come with our trash. Definitely if you were going on a trip bring multiple cords that would fit just in case. It is a problem with the charging port, though, and the device itself. It doesn't make sense when you have cords that work for other devices, but not for the pump. Their customer service is pretty good, but for how much money you spend on these pumps, I would look at a different one as there are multiple out there now just because of all of the finicky things with this one. I do like the quietness and discreetness though

Great for on the go!
I had multiple wireless breast pumps but Elvie was easily my favorite. They were quiet, they had great suction, very easy to charge and empty. I would definitely recommend these to nursing/pumping mother(to be).

Meets portability and versatility needs
I bought this after using an older Elvie from 3-4 years ago and wanting a portable option. It was surprising to receive the latest model and see there haven't been any updates. Even something simple like having a USB-C charging cable would be more streamlined. Overall it meets the need and the design looks nice. But there are other competitors in the space now with a more affordable price point. My biggest frustration is with the app being very slow to pick up when you start a new session. And the algorithm for estimating how much you pump is always drastically off. I even update the amounts but find I have to re-fix some the next day. At this point I've stopped using the app for that and instead track amounts in the app I use for tracking diapers, feeds, etc....For the high price point, I guess I expected the latest and greatest and an disappointed that it's just average.

Overall made my pumping journey much easier
This is my favorite middle of the night purchase I made with a newborn lol. I use it every day, with comparable output to my spectra after I got the proper fit using the flange cushions (fit is key...without proper fit i was getting half my normal output). Pros: decent battery life, unmatched portability, minimal leaks as long as you stay somewhat upright. The app is great to start and stop the pumps while i am on video calls for work, traveling on public transit/planes, and for long drives. Cons: it is such a huge pain to keep these pump parts clean, and the plastic is not that sturdy. I'm 6 months into using them and the bottles show small cracks. Also the volume sensor is not great. Also, on me, the bottle "full" sensor auto-stops the pump around 3.5 oz, when the bottle capacity is 5 oz. Not a big deal for me, but it would be nice if the sensor was a little more accurate.

My favorite pump
I've been using the Elvie for 2 months now and it has completely replaced my Spectra. I get the same output without having to be attached to a machine. The pumps are comfortable and quiet. I had an issue at the beginning with the shields becoming warped in my sterilizer - there should be clearer instructions about this as they cannot handle high heat. Customer service was fantastic however, they were available 24 hours per day including when I had a middle of the night issue and immediately replaced all of the damaged parts. Since then having been washing with soap and water they are holding up well. Would highly recommend this pump.

Wanted to Love
I had high hopes for this pump, drawn in by its sleek design and theoretical convenience. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived, as I discovered several limitations. The shields prove remarkably fragile, the battery life is woefully inadequate, and the charging time is inexcusably long. Furthermore, I regret the absence of USB-C compatibility, which would have been a significant improvement.

One pump already completely stopped working. Breastfeeding is already frustrating. Doing one boob at a time is incredibly so.

Perfect Pump for On the Go
