This Cotton Tale Sidekick Musical Mobile does just that and that is why I purchased it for my grandson. This mobile is quality made and very easy to put together and then connect to a crib or playpen. It looks exactly as it appears on the Overstock website and the price was not too expensive but affordable. I would definitely recommend buying this mobile and if this one is not available, any other that manufactured by this company, as the workmanship is what matters.
