We've gotten way more use out of this changing table than I imagined we would. The actual setup is a mirror image of the product shown -- the hamper part is on the right side of ours. I'm not sure if that is because of how we assembled it, or not. It doesn't matter to me, but I thought I would mention it anyway. The hamper portion is two bars connected with dowel rods. I carry the whole thing to our basement when it's time to do laundry, and I can feel the connections weakening, and it's becoming wobbly. I probably shouldn't do that, but it's convenient to just carry the whole thing. Otherwise, everything is really great about this changing table!
The corner dimensions are great for space-saving and for any parents who might be like me and have a phobia of baby throwing self off side of table in traditional table. Pretty impossible for baby to tumble off this with person changing diaper pretty much being goalie to prevent a feet-first launch. However, like many others have noted... the changing pad is terribly flimsy and just shy of unusable. I opted to keep it for a changing pad to have on hand for downstairs but replaced it--after LOTS of trial and error to find short enough one for corner dimensions--with one found on another online retailer. If the company could just improve the too flat/little cushion changing pad, this would be a 5-star product.
