Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

This high chair is great for all stages of a baby's growth. As an infant it better accomodates the smaller baby for feeding better than any other high chair I have seen. The next stage 6-12 months you can still use the tray portion and the child is still as secure. The overall size is smaller and less balky then the normal high chair. As the child ages, the tray portion comes completely off and then just push the chair up to the table but it is at a height that is accomodating to children and it doesn't require a booster seat. It also acts as a step stool when pushed over to the sink when the litlle ones want to help clean up or just play! This was also easy to put together. All in all I would recommend. The only reason for 4 stars is that I have only used for 2 months now and don't know how it will stand up to daily uses down the road. Good purchase.

  • Raises My Blood Pressure - Oh How I Wish I Hadn't

Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

I waited to write a review of this product until I had used it for a good amount of time. I read lots of reviews by first time parents who haven't even had the baby yet and only assembled the product. This chair is "pretty" and it matches my furniture. This is the only good thing I have to say. The back of the chair is not supportive and not adjustable. My son squirms all over the place in this chair. The tray is so far away that he can easily turn his body around (even with restraints). The restraints are in an akward position and EVERY time I use them it pinches my fingers and leave bruises. In addition the restraints are ALWAYS getting tangled and even though we have used this d*mn chair for 3 months, I always have to re-figure out how they work. The restraints DO NOT detatch from the wood, which means cleaning is a joke! Also the fabric of the restraints, is slick feeling and the buckle for them constantly comes off, which means I have to put it back on all the time. The wooden seat can slide forward and backward, my son especially loves to stand on the bottom board, use the pressure from the back of the knees to slide the seat part out and wha la! No seat to sit on. He can also do the same thing (in a different way) with the bottom plate. I have tried just removing the bottom plate, but then he screams. Overall he is just this 8 month old baby who is floating in this awful, uncomfortable high chair that he hates, and I loathe. Even writing this review makes me frustrated. This chair might be cool for a toddler who isn't quite ready to sit in a regular chair and doesn't want a booster seat. Other than that consider yourself warned!

  • Stylish Chair, Affordable Price

Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

I really love this highchair, in fact I bought two of them. I was looking for a highchair for my 5 month old that was nice because our house is small and it would have to be in the living room all the time. This chair fit the bill perfectly. It is really nice and versatile, should adjust as she grows. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the seat cushion, it is a vinyl pad covered in cloth and isn't easy to wipe off. I'm gonna make a wipeable one for it but I wish I didn't have to go to the effort. You can machine wash the cover it comes with though and it did come very clean when I washed it. Another note, your baby should be able to sit up well if you are going to use this chair, it does not recline and doesn't support their head so use something else for feeding until they can sit up really well. Great chair and fantastic price.

  • Great Value

I love this chair because it's not an eyesore in the kitchen/dining room. We started putting our 3 month old in the seat, supported with a rolled up towel. He's 10 months now and it's all holding up great, even the plastic tray which gets licked by the dog, sent through the dishwasher, and scrubbed with the scratchy green side of the sponge every day. The only drawback is the fact you have to slide the kid in and out of the seat, and that the seat board will only fit in the highest two positions with the tray attached. My 31" tall baby still fits fine behind it, though. I've made a couple of slip covers for the seat pad which is attached with velcro (the hook side of the tape is attached to the wood), but laying a towel down works just fine, too, if you don't want to wash the included cover all the time.

Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

I really like the look and sturdiness of this chair. I love the way the plastic tray covers the entire wood tray for easy cleanup. The straps for buckling in are not the best, and adjusting the height of the seat/footrest will require more effort than I expected, but I still love this as a high chair and booster especially for the price in comparison to similar designs.

  • beautiful chair but not perfect.

Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

Beautiful chair which compliments our exisiting furniture which is why we choose this one over a garish plastic one. Neat in propotions slides easily up to table. Reasonably lightweight so easy to move about. Tray is only supposed to be used when the seat is in the highest position. We found this impracitical. Our daugher is 7 months old and very small for her age but we struggled to get her into the seat in the highest position and more importantly really struggled to get her out as her legs got stuck. We've now moved it to the second position and continue to use the tray and that works fine. I can imagine that for larger babies it would be a significant problem. On the plus side the plastic tray cover is very handy and can be washed in the dishwasher - very hygenic. Overall we're very pleased with the chair although had we stuck to the manufacturers instructions regarding seat and tray position, we would then no longer be using it.

  • High Chair

when I first opened the product and saw all the pieces, I was concerned. Actually, it was easy to put together and seems to be very sturdy. I love the simple design and the fact that the plastic tray is easily removable for cleaning. I highly recommend!

  • Attractive but hard to use
    Verified Purchase
Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

This highchair looks very nice but is very difficult to use. We use it for our granddaughter so it is not used as often as it would be in other households. The tray doesn't move which makes it hard to get her little legs under the tray without hurting her. The harness is a joke. It looks like it was an afterthought and is just too cumbersome to use. If we were ever going to leave her unattended in this chair we'd have to find another solution because we just don't use the belts. As mentioned by most reviews the cushion is covered in white duck canvass and easily soiled and not easily cleanable. In summary: Functionally this chair fails. Aesthetically it passes nicely. I also like the idea of it's use without the feeding tray as a booster seat later. Looking forward to that stage.

  • Horrid high-chair
    Verified Purchase
Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

I think this is the first negative review I've ever bothered to write... We'd bought this high-chair as it seemed to offer an attractive, sleek, furniture-like and simple alternative to the oversized, cutesy, plastic-y, food-trapping versions out there. If that's your desire too, keep shopping. The safety belts are incredibly poorly designed. They flop all over, and must constantly be untangled and repositioned before sliding your kid behind the fixed tray. Adjusting the hight of the seat is an incredible nuisance, requiring a rubber mallet and way too much time and patience. The meager seat pad has a narrow velcro strip to attach it to the chair, and the canvas cover shrinks horribly in the wash. Apparently it was 'hand wash cool/drip dry' and I missed those instructions; if so, shame on them for making a kids' high-chair cover that's not machine washable. Anyway, after the first washing, the cover was too small to fit back over the 'cushion', which therefore was no longer able to attach to the high-chair itself. So kiddo was sitting on the slippery, hard, bare seat after the first washing. We ended up enduring this junky chair for a few months, and then moved our daughter to a booster seat at the regular table. I could not have been happier to send this thing out with the garbage/recycling, and was sorry to have wasted my money on it in the first place.

  • The tray does not move,is not easy to get in & out

Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

The problem is that it is difficult to get the child in and out of the high chair as the tray does not move. My grandson is only eight months old, and the wooden bar that is under the tray is to close to the seat making it difficut to get into and out of the seat. The strap at the front of the seat is also hard to connect the straps to and unclip when removing the child. I would not reccommend because of this. I do not know how a larger baby would fit under that wooden piece.

This high chair is easy to assemble and keep clean. Looks much more prettier in the kitchen than a typical plastic loud colored high chair. It grows with the baby and can be used with adults. Great find. Baby loves it!

My 4 1/2 year old fits in it. I’ve modified it by removing one of the black bars. The 1 bar still in place locks in the doors rest and seat, when you tighten it. It is very strudel and looks hard to tip over. I will say that the wood does chip very easy. We’ve had our high chair for less than2 weeks now and my daughter has managed to scratch it already-That’s one of the cons. The other is that the seat height is fairly low. I wAs looking for a countertop height, but this one kept popping up. :/ and it is about 2 inches foo short :/

This is the best high chair money can buy! At first I was concerned about the cloth seat cushion cover but later discovered it washes great! The chair is easy to put together and comes with all of the parts and tools needed! It is very easy to adjust for a growing baby/toddler and easy to use and clean! I would reccommend this to anyone with a baby able to sit up on their own!

Option: Multi-stage High Chair - Brown - Wood

I bought this chair because my 2 year old refuses to sit in a booster or high chair anymore. Wants to be a big girl and sit in a big girl chair, but that means her nose is level with the table, and messes ensue.... This is perfect! She climbs up all on her own and sits at the same height as all of us. We don't use the tray table, but we have more babies coming from other family members, so I'll save it for them!

It is my mistake, but I thought this was as high as a common high chair. It really works well, for being around a table, but not around an island, or one of the new high tables. It is too short. It came with some scratches, but the manufacture sent us new parts right away. My daughter pointed out that if a child is choking, you can not get them out with a quick release. It would be hard to get them out quickly, since it is made of wood, and you have to slide the baby in and out. So, I guess this would be best for a larger toddler.

We bought two of them for our two kids and we could not have made a better investment. These high chairs are not only classy but very functional. They have stood up to the beating our kids have dished out over the last year and they still look great. I don't have any reason to believe that these chairs will not last for years while transforming as our kids grow. The are beautiful and functional...the removeable tray has been invaluable. Everyone that comes to our house and sees them asks where they can find them. Money well spent.

The Badger Basket looks contemporary, just like in the picture. The strap from the chair to the Badger table only fits for the first level, when baby is the smallest. When you lower the seat as baby grows, the strap is too short to attach, so the baby has no protection from sliding out or twisting around. The table is not removable. I wish I hadn't bought this.

I'm giving this three stars because the tray is fixed and is very frustrating... it makes it really difficult to get the baby in and out. I finally gave up on it and removed it and now I just have it against the table. The company is reliable, though. And quick about replacing parts (part of the plastic snapped off of the tray the 4th time I used it).
