I know lots of folks rave about this bassinet, which I can understand, but I hope they're also honest about leaving honest feedback. Yes, the size of the bassinet is good for babies under 20 lbs and allows free flowing air through the mesh. HOWEVER... folks need to point out that this only fits certain heights of beds. I, unfortunately, didn't realize that my bed was more lowered to the floor and out of the range of "sleeping bedside with this bassinet where you don't have to get out of bed". I had a C-Section, and still had to physically bend up, which is ridiculous after having that surgery the first 3 weeks, to still get the baby. Also...be prepared to have a bigger than usual bedroom to accomodate the large base legs for this bassinet. The legs are really long!!!! Yes, that means that my toddler won't be able to push it over, but the legs are just too big! And... the bassinet itself is too hard for the newborn to sleep in. You'll have to lay down a blanket or a swaddle blanket to make it somewhat more comfy.
I Love this crib I bought it for my in-home childcare and it works really good. The only thing is I really wish it was adjustable for my zero to 7month baby's I'm short so it is a task having to us a foot Stool or my tippy toes to get the infant out. and that's the only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5.
