I'd used to own have set of T-fal kitchenware but the quality recently has been very bad with the non-stick coating peeling off. After using this saucepan from Anolon the saucepan is great with the best coating for saucepan ever. Purchasing another smaller one for small quantity cooking
I spent hours researching cookware, even cookware I found at Marshall's, Sears, TJ Maxx, JC Penney, Macy's... you name, I've probably read reviews or held it in my hands. Momscook... let's be honest: it sounds so generic. I have been pleasantly surprised in the past month of using this set and using it hard. Seriously, Chef Ramsay would even give me a nod of amateur approval. These have a wonderful weight and feel, both of which give a little more confidence. I've been able to get equal - if not better - results with this set at lower temps than our previous cookware (a mix of Rachel Ray porcelain and Anolon). Don't get me wrong, I love Anolon, especially the copper stuff. However, these new pots & pans have been amazingly easy to clean. The outsides haven't scuffed or scratched (despite many reviews). I'm refusing to dishwasher these; I learned from destroying my gorgeous Anolon. The handles, though not silicon coated, do stay pretty cool. There have been couple times they've gotten hot from the oven vent, but ran a little cool water over them and cooled down in seconds. The lid handles, again despite having silicon coating, also stay cool (same thing about the oven vent, though). What else can I say? The only - literally only - negatives: 1) Handles aren't coated. However, I love the professional look & feel, so I'm not counting this as a full negative. 2) The lids don't have the little vent holes. Again, can't give a full negative because I have yet to hear a lid rattle. Maybe I just got lucky? 3) Kidding, there is no 3. Honestly, you will be pleasantly surprised if you decide on this set. I'm very happy with the hard anodized. My second choice was the granite wear from... forget the name... very Italian. Anyway, I opted for this particular set due to their lacking of PFOA & PFOE (aka: yet more things that may cause cancer). I'm a firefighter, I don't need anymore carcinogens in my life let alone my food. Happy shopping! If you choose Momscook, I think you'll find it was money well spent.
I've used Anolon pans for 10 years and love them. I was happy to find these on Overstock because they are a GREAT deal. I'm enjoying cooking more just because I like to use my new pots and pans. I highly recommend this product. It's a great buy.
