3M sells a variety of spray adhesives, but typically only the 77 (multipurpose) and 90 (high-strength) formulations are available for sale at the local hardware stores. The 77 has served me well for years and I’ve never seen the need for any additional grip in a variety of applications. Spraying just one surface is adequate for most situations, but I usually spray both for veneer. Also, it seems to work best if at least one of the surfaces is porous - maybe something to do with outgassing. Overspray is inevitable if you want complete edge-to-edge coverage and laying down protective plastic or paper beneath often takes more time than anything else. Be sure to clean the spray tip after each use or else the spray pattern can be unpredictable - excessive overspray patterns and/or blobs of adhesive on mating surfaces. Acetone seems to work best for cleaning the tip itself and I often squirt a small amount in the plastic dispenser tube as well so that it won’t clog up - just be sure to shake it out after a couple of seconds. This product is best for medium to large surface areas, particularly flat pieces that need to be accurately positioned - it usually gives you a second chance to adjust the pieces so long as you haven't pressed them together. A wooden rolling pin works great as a improvised brayer. I also appreciate that there is no bleed-through on thinner surfaces, such as medium-weight paper.
So far so good. Mattress came quickly, one day earlier than expected. Very well packaged. Though not easy because of its weight , I managed to get it up 5 stairs, down the hall and onto my boxspring by myself (Iam a 65 year old woman in excellent health ). I unrolled and unfolded it before breaking the vacuum seal. It inflated quickly. There was a fairly strong odor similar to acetone but was bearable within several hours. I was able to sleep on it the first night. I have slept on it for 3 nights now. It is very comfortable. Support is firm, I ordered the queen size 14" firm, but provides enough give to snuggle hips in comfortably if you are a side sleeper. The mattress covering appears to be of excellent quality and even has a zipper. As noted in other reviews, the edges of the mattress do not offer the same edge support as a traditional coil springs construction. I do not find this to be an issue but some people might.
Ordered this chair to use in my office, once I got it the bag of screws and washers was torn open with missing screws and washers so had to make a trip to ***. Turned the chair over and there was some marking on the sides of the chair, I figured with some water and elbow grease it would come right up, not the case! After scrubbing for 10 mins k passed it on to my husband still wouldn't come up. I even went as far as to get a little bit of acetone on a q-tip to rub just the markings still nothing. Packaging and inspection of products could use some up quality control.
While the jar looks kind of pink with sparkles, on the nail it's actually a bronze background with a LOT of confetti. It doesn't look bad (just too young for me). While not a look I wanted on my hands, I thought I could keep using it on my toes. But the first time I tried to remove it added 20 minutes to my pedicure. I try to use a remover without acetone, but I had to get out the good, old-fashioned acetone remover and, even then, I had to basically just scratch the glitter off with my fingernails and some metal implements. I never got it entirely off, just gave up and polished over it. At that point, I threw this polish away in disgust. BUT, not bad-looking!
