Bronze, not even close try bronze colored tin The bottom was all bent to hell and I had to try to bend it back without it breaking and I ordered it to be a swag I have to put the entire thing together myself. Cheap and Chintzy but my mom likes it so I guess I'll keep it, but I'm sorely disappointed. :(
Pretty chintzy and plasticy. Definitely not worth the price, but we will be hanging it high up on a ceiling so you won't be able to tell, and can't deal with the hassle of returning and finding something else.

It is way larger than I expected- and a bit cheaper looking. I didn't realize I'd have to assemble the electrical component. If I had known that, I definitely would not have bought this. After finding someone to do it for me, it didn't work. Rather than try to find someone else to get it working, I've decided to remove the chain and cord and just use it outside as a lantern in my garden. It seems more appropriate for that anyhow. Not really something I want to use inside. Also, they use a gold chain - not a brown or bronze colored like the lamp- to me it sticks out and looks tacky.
Having been to Morocco and having walked through a lot of the markets, I can say that these are authentic. They are hand made and rustic. If you are looking for something mass produced or perfect, this is not the purchase for you. For me, it reminds me of the lighting walking though the narrow alleys and shopping in the souks in Marrakesh.
