ultra refers to ultra thin, not ultra non-slip. while it works well under heavier rugs for me, it does not seem to do well under terry-only bath mats. no matter - still works for some other rugs!

I ordered these rug pads in 3 different sizes and they work perfectly on bamboo floors under area rugs as well as on porcelain tile in the bathrooms under bath rugs. Very easy to cut them to size too. They seemed pricey to me at first but after checking other stores I realized Overstock's prices are the best (unless you want the cheapest, thinnest rug pads that you'll probably need to replace after 6 months).These are excellent rug pads at an unbeatable price. ;)

The only thing I have to say is that I thought it was the same size as the rug and it wasn't so I had to cut it down to size while it was on the floor b/c I had already laid the rug down and furniture back. A little disappointing or maybe I'm just a little lazy. :)
