The slip-control this exercises could be done with any sticky tape, and to add insult to injury, the "pad" is more like a sticky sheet and it crumples and folds if the rug is disturbed. No cushioning to speak of, so next time I get the 'real' rug pad.

Cheap price for a non-slip pad that stays put! With two rambunctious cats I worried my new rug would slide all over. Not a problem here! I actually have a hard time picking it up and moving it with the rug to rearrange the room. Will purchase again when I get another rug.

Based on comments from other reviewers of the rug I purchased, we also added the nonslip pad. I'm glad that we did. It adds an extra level of security, especially since the rug is in a child's room!

The pad has dangerous flame retardants. Don't buy especially if you have babies around, who will be crawling on your carpet and putting chemicals into their mouths.

Wanted to protect my newly installed laminate flooring so I purchased this to use under the three rug runners I also purchased from Overstock. The size was enough to cut and fit to all three runners (2' x 7'). Performs as it was intended.

I have tried other area rug pads and this one is by far the best. It keeps the rug in place without bulk under it. Best of all is the price! You just can't beat it.

I had to trim it down, as the rug was slightly smaller. It was easy to trim, and the rug (rather thick) stays in place beautifully on the hardwood floor.

I have a rug on a hard wood floor. I was always adjusting the rug. The rug pad makes the rug feel more cushioned & it really doesn't slide all over the floor.

No fault of the product. I just picked the wrong kind of padding. It sticks to my ceramic tile floor and I fear we will have to use machinery to get it off eventually. I won't send it back since it is stuck and all....we'll just cope. But beware if you have ceramic tile floor. Not a good choice for that.

I have not tried this kind of rug pad before, and just don't think it's easy to use or works as well as the one-piece thicker pads. Doesn't lay completely flat and hard to get the rug exactly over the pad. I had to trim one side with scissors and was easy to do.

I am so thrilled with this product. I have some new rugs that were sliding out of place. All I had to do was put the pad on the floor and place a rug on top of it. Now, the rugs are not moving...at all. The pad IS amazing. I am so glad I bought it.
