I bought the coffee maker for my daughter, and then myself after she said she liked it. I loved it for the first three months. The coffee tastes good, it's easy to use, and I like the detachable water reservoir. However, after 4 months the programming feature just quit. The really disappointing part is that although Hamilton Beach will replace the unit, I have to pay the shipping costs which is over $12.00! I think if the product is defective, they should replace it for free. I had actually just bought one more of this same coffee maker that day, for our cottage. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that these 2 new coffee makers will last more than 4 months! I was really happy with it until it suddenly stopped working!
