I got this vacuum because we have two dogs and a shag rug that sheds just like the dogs. We had hair everywhere. In 5 minutes I can now vac up all the hair and misc on the hard wood floors and on the area carpet. It is light, easy to use and just perfect. Without a cord you can just grab and go anywhere with it quickly. Very powerful and picks up everything. I can't think of any reason not to get his vac.

i love this little vacuum! i live in a very small apartment with wood, carpet and tile floors. this dyson works so well on every surface, is so compact and extremely easy to use. i love the attachments and the variety of uses. it can act like a dustbuster in one room and cleans my carpet just as well as my last big and bulky cleaner.

We love this vacuum cleaner. We do not have the space for a huge and heavy Dyson machine, but this vacuum cleaner does the job and it's very light and easy to store. My only complaint is that the battery runs out pretty fast so we need to charge it every time we use it. Other than that it has fulfill my expectations and we are happy with this purchase.

I' purchased the DC35 about a month ago. It works as described. It is easy to maneuver, easy to store. it holds a charge well, great suction. No problems so far.

This Dyson is not intended to replace a full size vacuum. It has a maximum run time of 15 minutes which is adequate. The best part of the design is how easy it gets into small awkward places. The amount of dog hair and dirt in the easy to empty canister is proof that it does the job.

This vacuum is the best I've ever used. My first dyson and I can say I will never buy another brand...ever! Cleans every surface in my small NYC apt. My dog's hair is no longer an issue. Only downside is that the battery dies a couple minutes before I'm done with the entire apartment...but still totally worth the money!

I love this vacuum, by far the best I've owned. Only things I don't like are that you have to hold the trigger the entire time. I have nerve problems, so occasionally it hurts to vacuum my whole house. I wouldn't recommend for people with arthritis or other hand related issues. The other thing I don't like is that it cannot stand on it's own. This can be a little bit of a pain when I need to set it down, but it also puts more weight on my hands since it's not holding itself up. Overall, the good outweighs the bad. This vacuum is easy to use, I love the washable filter, the attachments are wonderful, and it picks up significantly more than any other vac I've had.

A refurbished vacuum should not mean a broken vacuum. However, I was surprised when I received the first one. It looked used and had a broken piece on the vacuum. I sent it back for an exchange because by the time I received it, the holiday sales at other sites were over. The second one was packaged like a new one, but its wand had a broken piece!!! The refurbished vacuum is NOT a good deal.

This vacuum does pull up a lot of dirt from carpet and hardwood floors. The head on it is a little narrower than other full size vaccuums, but the fact that it is cordless and lighter weight kind of make up for that. Not having to deal with the cord much vaccuuming less of a drag (no pun intended).

I was excited to give this to my son for a Christmas. ...He was excited to receive it. It was not 'completely' refurbished. One of the connection sites was still broken. the latch was not able to connect due to a broken piece. I suppose it was easy to miss on inspection, never the I will be returning this probably wonderful vacuum. This will be my first return to OS, so I will need directions. THank you. c****

This is my first dyson and I have to say, i'm completely happy about it. The only thing I have to say is, that it was smaller than I thought, but besides that, the product works great. I love the fact that when you empty it out, all you have to do is press a release button and out it comes. You have to get your fingers dirty. And the main thing that got my eyes were the fact that you can use it on carpet and hardwood floor. I even use it in my kitchen when im lazy to sweep.

I am disappointed with the power of the vacuum and the fact that you have to keep you thumbs down to keep it switched on. It won't replace a regular vacuum.

The one I received is not like new. some letters on the body have been erased. The filter is old too. I have a bulk heavy vacuum. This vacuum I bought from Overstock is much lighter. It did a better job on hardwood floors than my old one. But for my bedrooms with wall to wall carpet, I still have to use my old heavy vacuum.

This thing sucks in the best way possible. Great for quick clean-ups, awesome for stairs. Even at normal speed, it can get an impressive amount of stuff collected. At "max" the suction is close to a full-size Dyson (but the battery will last half as long).

I didn't want to spend almost $*** for a new Animal, so I saw this one refurbished and thought I would give it a try. I do like the quality of the suction the Dyson offers, however, the switch does not stay on unless I keep my finger on it. It gets tiresome after a while. I am not sure this is supposed to be this way, but maybe that why it was refurbished. the easy empty canister is great. The attachments are easy. One complaint is that the battery runs out quick and just stops. No warning. I have mixed feelings about this. I replaced another brand of cordless stick broom that ran out quickly too. Guess I am expecting too much.

This is my 2nd refurbished Dyson. My first, an original yellow one, is still going strong, nearly 8 years later. My current house has hardwoods downstairs and carpet up, with carpeted steps. It was just a pain carrying the big yellow one downstairs and my dogs white fur on my dark hardwood floors gave me daily anxiety. I was hesitant to spend so much money, even on something refurbished, so I actually purchased another companies stick cordless vacuum new for ***. It barely worked out of the box, so back to the store it went and I ordered this. It came, looked brand new and works fantastic! The battery life has never been a problem and holding the button in to make it run has also never been an issue. It sucks up the dog fur and all the dust great. My only issues with it is that it isn't great on carpet, especially shag (I have a large shag rug downstairs so I still end up carrying the big dyson downstairs every so often to get it very clean. My other issue I have with my original dyson as well and it looks like others do too as they have started a design to rid their uses of this problem...when it sucks up my long hair, they get entangled all around the brush to the point where I have to get out scissors to cut the hair off of the brush. I think this is a problem with any vacuum with a brush system. Even given the two negatives, I would buy this again in a heartbeat and would surely buy it refurbished to save *** for the same, high quality product. I love dyson vacuums!!
