Missing parts
Please be advise that Overstock does NOT include the mini motorized brush bar that makes this model the animal version. When I contacted customer service, they said that because it is not stated that this brush is included in the description there was nothing they can do for me. I'm very disappointed in that I was under the impression that I was purchasing the DC35 animal model, but did not receive said model.

Overstock gets a D- for selling this w/o pet attac
I am livid that Overstock is selling the animal version without the mini motorized pet attachment. What would be the purpose of advertising it as such if you begin to take out specific manufacturer included items? Yes it does not infact list it this part, but i assumed it was an oversight as i googled the model and everywhere else it is included, and that is why the word 'anmal' is included.? Even more absurd was the fact that i then could not return it, because it is refurbished, but that fact is hidden. I pressed the issue and demanded i speak to a customer service manager, and i was finally given a aurhorization for a return. This absurdity of this experience will have me definitely shopping elsewhere to avoid this senseless aggrivation.

Item is excellent. Can't register warranty w/Dyson
There is an issue with this specific item that requires a warranty repair. Unable to register this Dyson product with the manufacturer. Dyson.com claims the serial number is not correct for an under warranty product. Overstock Customer Service Chat person avoided that issue and offered to replace it under their holiday returns policy. This does not resolve the issue of whether this purchase is covered by the manufacturers warranty as stated in the item's listing. Dyson makes great products, but as with any product I buy I want the warranty coverage offered.

Missing part
Dyson has been notified that Overstock is selling this unit as an Animal even though it does not ship with the pet hair attachment. They were surprised to learn that they would be selling this at at higher price than the DC35 when in fact it becomes the same unit without the attachment. Guess they figure the purple color demands a higher price.

Was a bit disappointing
I was pretty disappointed with the vacuum. This was my first Dyson, so I think I had the bar set pretty high, or expected it to stand out from prior vacuums. Overall I found it a great design to maneuver under tables/couches/furniture and at odd angles, but the suction was pretty average. This MAY be just me though, because my expectations were a bit high.

Love it, love it, love it
The quality is excellent. Was a little worried as it was a refurbished product but it works and looks like new, and I saved at least $%^$! I highly recommend this product and Overstock sent it almost immediately. Very happy.

Looks Brand New
I purchased a Dyson handheld DC35 vacuum cleaner for full price a year ago and loved it. Purchased this refurbished one for my son at 1/2 the cost! Would definitely recommend this to others!

Super convenient
This vacuum does an excellent job for quick cleanups on hardwood floors. It's so much more convenient than pulling out a regular corded vacuum, and works 10x better than a broom or a Swiffer. With a house full of kids, 3 dogs, and 4 cats the floors require constant attention. It's lightweight and well balanced and easy to get into corners and tight spots. I especially like it for cleaning the stairs (hardwood also) because its small enough to fit the stair treads and ts easy to get around the banisters. Even works great on carpet with the powered head unit. I usually keep it on full power and I can spot clean the whole downstairs of a 3000 sq ft house (all hardwood except one room) on a single charge. I bought the refurbished unit and saved a lot of money and it still looks like brand new. You can't go wrong with this vacuum.
