I purchased this for my 7 year old daughter. In the beginning my daughter was alittle upset by the tantrums of the little girl in the movie. After watching the movie all the way through she understood more about the movie and why the little girl was so misbehaved. Good movie for families with children ages 7 & older.
Got this for my daughter who did a project and had to dress up as Helen Keller for school. She was facinated with Helen Keller and wanted to see her movie. I saw this updated version and thought she might like it better because it is in color (not black and white like the Patty Duke/Anne Bancroft version). It was a really great movie! The child actress was excellent. Needless to say she loved it. She even clapped at the end.

As a second grade teacher I read both the autobiographies of Lewis Braille and Helen Keller. This is a wonderful movie that shows them Helen as a little girl. This movie is well done and the kids relate to it very well. It keeps their attention and they learn a lot!
