Yowza! 20X is a lot of magnification!
VERIFIED PURCHASEOk, I only got these because they looked cool. Remove the lenses and spray the whole thing with some copper-like paint and you've got a great steam-punk accessory. The lights only add to coolness factor. With the 20X magnification, you practically have to old an object right up to the lens. Don't expect any stereoscopic effect at that distance! You can flip a lens out of the way pretty easily. You can also unscrew the outermost lens to reduce the magnification. For the price, these are fun. You might actually be able to use them for watch repair—I don't know.

Go with Wolf's superb construction
VERIFIED PURCHASEOrdered this as a surprise Valentine's gift for the hubby...he was very impressed (as am I) with the superb construction and adequate room that is offered in each compartment. Wolf is a world renown high-end brand (Est. 1834), and their meticulous attention to all details (faux leather looks real, suede lining, optional lock/key, REAL glass cover) is quite obvious to this day! This case is more than adequate for storage of standard sized timepieces, however, it is not recommended for over sized watches. Thanks for carrying this impressive brand, Overstock!

A very elegant and sturdy box...
VERIFIED PURCHASEI was surprised by how heavy and solid this box was. It is my first watch box, but I am happy I chose it. The case itself is padded with a very nice faux leather. The inside is covered in a soft grey cloth and the pillows are a nice size, but are not large enough to snuggly hold watches with larger bracelet bands. That's okay though, since the watch and pillow nestle into the slots. It all works quite well. My only negative is that the lace ribbon that stops the lid from folding all the way back simply folds down into the case when closed sometimes laying over the watch in the leftmost slot. It certainly doesn't harm the watch and is by no means a deal breaker, its just something I noticed when looking this over. The locking mechanism is neat. It can left completely unlocked, snapped shut, or snapped AND locked via a key. I like that system and the little key is right at home on my key ring. Overall, this is a great and classy accessory.

VERIFIED PURCHASEHusband is a watch collector and thought he would like this. It did have some tools that he needed. But he was a little disappointed that it did not come with a case or container of some kind. Tools were good for watch repairs.
