I just received this rug today and I am debating whether to undergo the hassle of returning it. I purchased it for use in a high traffic living room. I purchased the white color and it is true to the photo and others' descriptions - a creamy white and that's fine. However, upon unrolling the rug it was immediately apparent to me that the quality was not what I had expected and hoped for. Far from being "plush," you can see right down through the yarn to the backing. And when I say yarn, I mean yarn. It looks like someone bought a skein of yarn from Joann Fabrics and made this rug. The material is not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination. It is also *certainly* not an inch and a half thick! It looks much more like a carpet than a rug. Honestly as I write this I am almost wondering if I received the wrong rug! I keep looking at the website photos and it does not seem the same. All that being said, once I vacuumed it to bring the material up a little, it looks okay and there was no terrible smell like some reviewers experienced. The size seems to be accurate as well. If you order this rug, expect a carpet-like piece of woven yarn that will look okay for the price, but don't expect to be wowed.
