These sheets appear to be high quality and consistent with other flannel sheets I've bought from overstock.com. The color is true to the picture. The German flannel sheets sold by Overstock are heavier. These are thinner, but not so thin they will not wear well. I can hardly wait to begin making a quit and pillow cases to complement the beautiful color of the sheets. Before putting them on the bed, I will wash them first in cold water to remove any excess dye, then in hot water to be sure I got all the dye out. Then I'll dry the sheets for 30 minutes on high heat to see what shrinkage will occur with normal wear. I always do this with non white sheets because I'd rather have the excess dye in the washing machine instead of my nightgown.
