I love the look of these sheets, but I had some reservations about ordering them because it said the fitted sheets pocket depth was 12", and my mattress is quite a bit thicker than that. However, they fit just fine. The material has a nice sheen to it, making them look slightly satiny. The colour in the picture looks black, but it's actually a very dark brown. This is great for me because I ordered them with the Luxe Versailles 'Rivoli' Iridescent Silk quilt in brown. I ordered the red and the teal. My bed has never been so well-dressed.
