I bought a similar pad for my daughter several months ago. That same pad was no longer available, so after much debate and review reading I purchased this one for my son. Unlike my daughters which had to air out for 3 days before the smell went away, this pad had almost no smell when we got it. We ended up airing it out for only a few hours and putting it on my son's bed that night. He absolutely LOVES it. Great price for a great pad - would definitely recommend this to a friend.
