I got this mattress because it's described as a medium-firm mattress but I wholeheartedly disagree with that description. This mattress is really a slab of granite parading with foam-like features. My lower back has been in excuciating pain since I started sleeping on it and I resorted to putting a pillow under my lower back to get some relief, which helped. (thankfully)
