I decided to wait several months before reviewing the Forestwood Plush Mattress set. We have used it for 4 months now. Upon receiving it I was immediately disappointed in the quality of the fabric used to cover both the mattress and box springs. Very low end. The material wasn't even sewn or stapled on evenly on one of the box springs (I ordered a king size set). I could get past that as long as the mattress felt good to sleep on. Sad to say, it wasn't. The mattress is very firm. It is a plush top, not to be confused with a pillowtop. It is thin, so therefore one does not need deep fitted sheets. I thought there would be great support since this mattress has the upgraded titanium DSX coils inside (a feature that increases the price). My husband normally likes a firm mattress but not this one. It's very uncomfortable to sleep on. We are average sized people and a long way from retirement age yet we both wake up stiff in the morning. Obviously there is plenty of room for two people to move around on a king size mattress so it can't be for lack of sleeping space. Also, we feel an edge or border going down the middle of the mattress even though it's covered up with the plush top cover. So there is no sleeping in the middle of the bed unless you want to sleep on a ridge. Also, occasionally the springs pop when sitting up and getting ready to hop ouf of bed. I realize one takes a big chance ordering a mattress online. We saved some money but at a cost. I won't make this mistake again. We are obviously stuck with using this mattress but for how long remains to be seen. If you like a very firm mattress and you want to save some money, this mattress might be the one for you. If you are looking for better quality, support, and most importantly comfort, perhaps you should keep looking.
