I was looking for a predominantly gold wool rug. The online picture clearly confirms this, and I was actually concerned that the rug might be TOO gold. But I took a chance and ordered it. I was stunned to unroll it and find a sage GREEN rug with blues and burgundys - no trace of the warm colors depicted online. There was not even a SLIGHT resemblance to the online description and photo. Even the packing slip said "sage/multi rug," with no reference to panels, wool, classic, empire, etc. If you're looking for a rug that matches the online picture, stay away from this one. Fortunately, Overstock.com sent me a return label with free return shipping.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Not even in the same color family.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The rug is substantial, thick and excellent equality. When I initially unrolled it, it lay completely flat - no curling on the ends or edges.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Not accurate. The product description says this rug contains accents of blue, green burgundy and ivory. In truth, sage green is the primary and predominant color.
