This rug was ordered as a present for my wife for our 2nd home in the Rocky Mountains. We need an extra large gold rug for the dining room. When the rug arrived it was about 150lbs and we were having hardwood flooring put down to replace the carpeted floors in the ma9n level. when ready , I got a helper and we laid out the rug, Immediately I noticed that the rug was BEIGE, Not gold by any sense of the imagination. The quality was good but the color was very muted. Too difficult and too late to send back this monster size rug , so we live with it. I think my wit will get used to it , or we will put it in a bedroom and find another.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? SIte list primary color as gold. It is beige. Much lighter than display. That boder color of beige is the actual primary color of the rug. Other than that , it is nice. But how in the hell do you return a 150lb rug of this size when you live in a very suburban area with a small car. I do not even want to think about packing and shipping costs. So I live with it. When I bought it it was higher priced, so it is probably a great deal iif you want a very large beige, not gold rug.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. good but color off
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? no color was described as gold. true color is beige
