We bought a cool 1970s couch and coffee table and wanted a rug to finish the look. I've been searching for a rug for months and had been to Overstock.com and then to then to other websites and then to stores - we searched everywhere. I knew exactly what I was looking for and then I found this shag (a shag was not what I was looking for). But the idea of a shag rug fit perfectly with the look of the living room and the quality of the rug was surprisingly good. It was less expensive than anything we'd seen anywhere else and better quality than a lot of the rugs that we found in stores for 4 times as much money. If you are ok with the color, you will be ok with this rug and it's a great deal!
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color actually looks like beige on the site and is called, "...solid beige shag rug". Luckily I read the reviews and someone said that it wasn't actually beige but cream and gold. So I knew what I was getting and it is nice.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I was afraid the rug might shed, but it doesn't. It feels think and comfy under your feet.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? The product description calls this rug beige and I guess from a distance it is beige but close up it is two-toned - gold and cream. Still very pretty.
