I am pleased with this light. Form, finish, fit and function were consistent and of good quality. Well packed with double boxing, styrofoam worms. White alabaster swirled glass is lovely, unbroken and of heavy, good quality. Nickel is brushed throughout, although it may appear shiney in the online photos. The inlay is OK and I like it. Do NOT expect mosaic or metal tiles, as it appears in the photos. This may be why there is some commentary about the light looking cheap. The inlay is of molded gray resin. The lines are cut into the resin, by hand it appears, while still soft to create the appearance of little stones. A translucent sage green paint is then glazed over the resin inlay. I would equate the effect like an old stone wall with some pale green lichen growing on the stones. Since my kitchen is stainless steel with sage green curtains, this effect actually works well in my kitchen. Uses GU24 twist lock compact florescent bulbs. They have two locking pegs instead of screw-in threads. Bulbs are included.
