I got this for my 2 year old Grandson after MANY review readings. (Yes it says 3 years or older but he's a real old-school kid). As a member of an older generation, I felt as though the reviews that mentioned "difficult, if not impossible assembly", were just a sign of the times, with an unwillingness to put more than minimal effort into things mechanical. My daughter received it, and with her husband, proceeded to spend a few curse filled hours assembling it. It wasn't easy, BUT once it was assembled you could not scrape my 2 year old grandson off of his "jump-o-line". It is well worth getting this item for any child of normal size.
