I was totally surprised when the faucet came out of the box. It's much heavier than I expected. The design in sleek and modern and even though this is going into my older home (1926) it does not look out of place because the deep patina of the finish makes it look as though it's from the deco period. It is thicker than I imagined and makes a strong style statement (is looks slimmer to me in the photo), so if you are looking for something a little more delicate or ornately period then this probably is not the right faucet for you. The clean angles of the handle on this faucet match seamlessly with the kitchen faucet (which we also got on Overstock). Overstock also had a small drinking water faucet that has a graceful curved neck, but has this more angular handle. These seemingly small details will all add up to make our kitchen remodel look seamless, not interrupted by mismatched details. I would definitely order from this company again.
