I was so pleasantly surprised when I got this comforter - The material is a thousand times better than it appears to be in the picture. It is so super soft, and while it isn't very thick it is surprisingly warm, but fluffy enough to not be too hot in the summer. I always wash my blankets before using them, so I was really happy to see that the stuffing was sewn into individual squares instead of just floating around inside because it wasn't a clumpy mess when I took it out of the dryer. Very, very happy with the entire set! You won't be sorry!
