I bought an engagement ring and was extemely cautious doing so on line. However, the cost factor for the quality and type of ring I was getting couldn't even be touched by the diamond stores around the area - so I decided to take a risk. Everything worked out perfectly and the ring is beautiful. The only negative experience that I had (and this is minor) is that after I completed everything on line I was told via the screen that I would get the ring within 5 business days. Luckily I didn't need it quickly. But after 4 days of it not showing - I got a kind of cryptic message saying I needed to contact Overstock about my purchase. Turns out, due to me spending several thousand on one item, they were just checking to make sure this was a genuine purchase. I appreciated that - and then got the ring within another 4 days. This is the way to shop guys! Have her look at lots of rings on line with you - mark down the style she likes - get her size - and order it when desired. Not pushy sales person, nobody trying to push you towards other more expensive things. And best of all - you will save hundreds and maybe even thousands of dollars. I'm a happy customer!
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? It looked exactly the same. However, I would have liked a few more pictures with it on a woman's hand - different angles.
- How accurate was the sizing? Correct
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I don't know lots about diamonds but it looks fabulous!
