After some quick research on the Dawg's brand, I was intrigued in the product. With the minimal cost involved, I knew the ill-effects of buyer's remorse couldn't possibly be very severe. When the shoes arrived, despite the claim that they are the lightest golf shoe in the industry I was still surprised at how light they were. I was able to use them this past Sunday and started the day with no socks. They were extremely comfortable and it was nice to not have to worry about damaging your spikes on concrete because the Dawg's spikes are hard rubber. Because of the holes, when I stepped in a small marsh area water did enter the shoe but after a good few paces the water vacated. It was only a minor inconvenience. I did get a small blister on my right ankle from where my skin came in contact with the shoe but that is normal for me with new shoes. I ended up throwing on socks after 12 or so holes and played the rest of the round with them. They seemed a little more comfortable to me in socks but they are wearable either way. It was so nice to be able to simply unstrap the velcro strap to take them off; no sitting down to untie shoelaces, no having to rip them off your feet. In a game where comfort and mood can really matter, Dawg's makes walking the course fun.
