I have used this pot 4 times since I've got it and it produces perfectly cooks beans. It was WAY bigger than I expected, though. You could fit a basketball inside of it, if you really wanted to. One sort of sucky thing about it is that steam pours from where the handle meets the lid, and drips down the side of the pot pooling all over the stove. It is VERY messy. That also makes it seem like it's about to explode, which is totally scary. I try not to stand too near it while its doing that, because I like being alive. It's only done that 2 out of the 4 times I've used it, it doesn't do it everytime, so maybe it just really doesn't like to cook smaller beans. I have really only used it for beans/grains, so have no idea how it would hold up cooking meat (gross) for more than 20 mins. I do know your stove will be very dirty by the end. So basically - it works and does what it's suppose to i.e. it cooks food way faster than regular stove-top method, but you are going to have a very messy kitchen and fear in your hearts as it does so. Pros - 2 pressure levels - 7psi & 15 psi; safety lock so you can't open it under pressure and kill yourself and/or small pets; very pretty; super heavy-duty/durable; saves electricity/gas from faster cook times Cons - extremely messy; scary looking/sounding when under pressure; manual leaves a bit to be desired (lol)
