Let's start with pros: For the price, I think this is a good set. The pillows are cute and the color/pattern are great. It's very pretty. Cons: After washing it the first time, I noticed that the threading unraveled some on the inside (couldn't see it on the outside though, so I wasn't too worried.) This fabric snags VERY easily. If you have a cat or dog that sleeps at the foot of your bed (we have a cat) I wouldn't recommend this set. Our cat doesn't claw at the bed, but him simply jumping up onto the bed and walking around and doing the occasional happy claws has put a lot of snags in the cover. We tried to cover the foot of the bed with another blanket to prevent the snagging, but this kind of defeats the purpose of having a cute duvet. Also, our down comforter slides around quite a bit inside the duvet cover and it slips off the bed regularly. So, if you want this set for a guest room, or one that doesn't see a lot of use it would be pretty and do well. If you are looking for a duvet set for more practical, everyday use I might consider a different set.
