Not sure how I lived my life without a stand mixer. I used it 7 times in the first 3 days I had it! It is taking a little bit of getting used to as it does affect how long you need to mix things versus with a standard hand mixer. I have overmixed bread dough twice now (sigh) but am getting the hang of it. For things like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, cookie dough...where has a stand mixer been all my life! I love using it! Just so disappointed it was beat up and used before it got here. The motor seems fine and I love it so much I can't bear to be without it, so I am not returning it for a different one. And because my dad bought this for me as a gift to start my new life as a stay at home mom (2 things I love th e most...my family and my kitchen). Buyer beware, though. Not surprising as some other things I've ordered from Overstock have been of poor quality as well.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Perfect color match
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Incredibly furious to find that I have a refurbished model. It arrived looking used...scratches in the finish, dents in the bowl.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? It was NOT being sold as a refurbished product. I noticed that some models specifically said "Refurbished" but this one did not. Yet...I get someone's hand-me-down on my doorstep. If I wanted a hand-me-down, I would have gone to a garage sale. But I PAID for a new one!
• Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
