This makes a nice bedside lamp. Unfortunately, mine came without the shade so I just had to spend time with customer service trying to get another shade shipped ASAP as I need it by next Wednesday when I have guests arriving. Customer Service wouldn't make any promises. I also bought the matching pole lamp and that is nice as well. They both look nice in my newly re-done guest room. (minus the shade-lol) If you are looking for high quality as in a heavy iron or forged lamp...this isn't for you, but for a guest room it's great. Can't beat the price for a decent looking lamp at a low cost.
