It did take some careful tightening to get the arms to stay put (our electrician didn't try very hard and the arms kept swinging to one side, but my husband and I were easily able to fix this problem by tightening the nut on the bottom) Once that was fixed, the light is lovely in our farm style home - love the cream/butter color of the shades, but they can also be easily changed out for different seasons to give different looks.
