Okay, like the other buyer, I was a little surprised when I unrolled the rug and saw that the design is applied rather than woven in. Of course, if I'd actually looked a little more closely at the detail pictures, it was pretty obvious. That said. I really like that the design has some shimmer against the background of light blue wool. For my purposes, lightening up a dark brown wood floor with chocolate brown furniture, brown brown brown. The light blue with browns and creams really addresses my issue and adds a playful lightness to the room plus I love the feel of this rug under my feet.
