Jute or Sisal, which is it???
from Seattle, wA,  Jan 23, 2011

Jute and sisal, though used interchangeably in the marketing of this rug, are drastically different in terms of quality and durability. Jute is a soft plant stem fiber that should only be used in low traffic areas while sisal is more rigid, stiff and more durable and okay for high traffic areas. No one at Overstock seems to understand the difference. Any idea from buyers which one this is? It's either a great deal for sisal or a raw deal for jute.
