I was so excited to get this rug for my new living room. It is exactly as described and so unique. I have gotten so many compliments and it is quite a conversation piece. I have it on grey/brown hardwood and it is a fabulous contrast and shows off both the rug and the floor. Yes, it sheds, but it is so worth the little bit extra effort to run a dry mop around the room every few days. The shedding has tapered off, so get over it and enjoy the rug!!!
