I got these in beige because some of the reviewers stated that the color was darker than they anticipated. I was hoping for a little darker, but they are a pretty, creamy color and look nice on my sliders. I got them more for coverage and energy savings (hot or cold) rather than regulating the light in the room. If you are using them in a room where you need real darkness, I would go with a different color. The front and back of the curtains are the same color which is nice and the material is soft - microfibery (not a real word) feeling. Glad I got them.
