The first thing I observed was that there was a noticeable difference in the softness on the front side as opposed to the back side; I don't remember seeing that before in other sheets, but I figured, Whatever, as long as it's soft against my skin. The fabric seemed to be good quality. However, I got to use them exactly once (two washes, one out of the package and one after being used) before I found a rip in the fabric of the fitted sheet, running from one corner down to the elastic. The seam didn't come apart, the fabric ripped. I'm not even sure what could have caused this -- I didn't have to yank or really strain the sheet to get it on the mattress. What a waste. I would *not* recommend spending good money on these sheets.
