Looks Great
from Tulsa, OK,  Aug 3, 2010

I mounted the blinds on the inside of the window frames. They go up easily and look great. The blinds come in a variety of widths, so you can get a custom look for a stock price. The blind was longer than I needed and I was actually able to shorten it without ruining the blind. (Untie the cord from the lowest ring. Cut the threads several of inches below where you want the blinds to stop. Secure the threads with glue, then turn up the bottom of the blind twice to create a hem and glue it. Secure it with clothes pins until dry. Reattach the cord to the lowest remaining ring. Do this on a flat surface, otherwise gravity will pull off all the bamboo slats and you will ruin the blind.) There are parts and instructions included to convert the blind to a cordless blind. Raising and lowering the blinds without the cord would be very awkward - if you need cordless blinds because of pets or small children, I wouldn't buy these blinds. They were perfect for what I wanted and I would recommend them.
