Very pretty rug that I hope will prove durable. It needs a quick vacuuming when first rolled out to remove some stray fibers and currently I've got the edges weighted down to try and get it to lay flat. I'm optimistic that it will flatten out over several days, but it's fairly lightweight - so we will see. Background (slightly lighter than pictured) has a braided jute look and the laser cut pile carpeting that forms the medallions gives it nice dimension. Center medallion is a dark, chocolate brown and the large corner medallions are an olive green (somewhat lighter than pictured). Smaller medallions are a golden brown. I caught it at an extra 10% off and price to quality seems fair at what I paid though not an unbelievable bargain as I frequently, happily find on Overstock.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Background is slightly lighter than I was expecting based on the photo.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Seems well made and the laser cut gives a nice dimension.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Colorwise, the text description is perhaps more accurate than the photo. Sand/Ivory is just as I would describe.
