Received my pillows a month ago, and am very happy with them!! The photo shows exactly what they look like. Black thicker cotton front, with deep red floral/starburst pattern. The pattern is achieved with an applique process so there is depth. It is a little more informal looking, but I like that look. It is not a fancy, shiny, silk pillow. I like that the covers are removeable for washing. Very good quality for the great price!
