Air mattress worked well in the house for my 14 y.o. granddaughter. My husband took it hunting. His non -slippery sleeping bag slipped off the air mattress but then he covered the top with a canvas and slept well the rest of the night. It does have a suede-like top finish but it didn't stop slipping without the canvas.He's 5'10 and 180 lbs.He slept well on it. I would recommend adding a bag in which to keep the battery pump.
